Today I had a Mini Town Hall meeting in my office…I was very grateful and appreciative‼️

Here is my thank you text to the “leader of the group” …..

Thank you again for taking the time to come and talk with me today. It truly meant a lot to me. Sometimes this campaign can feel a little lonely because I never set out to become a politician—I simply reached a point where I felt I had to stand up and try to make Tecumseh a better and more affordable place for everyone.

I was genuinely honored that you ladies came to me and offered to help. When I said the outcome is in God’s hands, I meant it sincerely—but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to work hard and give this everything I have. I already have videos in my mind I want to make —————-STRATEGY INFO REDACTED———Whatever happens in November, I want to know that I stood up for something I believed in. I know I said, I didn’t care if I won or lost, but I was just being humble, I am serious…it took a lot of effort to just file the necessary paperwork, open up a political bank account, pay for a web domain, design my own website, design my own postcard and then organize it and take the 3000 cards to the post office.

My vision really isn’t complicated. I want Tecumseh to be a place where families can afford to live, where kids are riding their bikes through neighborhoods, playing ball at our existing, unused diamonds and swimming at an outdoor pool. I want clean sidewalks, trimmed weeds, storm debris and snow taken care of promptly, and a city government that operates efficiently and carefully with taxpayers’ money.

Sometimes the simplest things make a community a wonderful place to call home.

Thank you for reminding me today that I’m not doing this alone. Your encouragement, ideas and willingness to help meant more to me than you probably realize. ❤️
